However, such\n\tinformation can be availed only by pursuant to a warrant.\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\t<strong>User\n\tInteractions: <\/strong>The TikTok app permit users to collaborate among\n\tothers with the help of commenting on a video, direct messages and\n\tlive chats. This data can be available through a warrant.\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\t<strong>Log\n\tData: <\/strong>TikTok ensures to maintain logs that may include\n\tinformation such as account login and logout details, content which\n\tis generated by the user such as date of file creation and\n\tmodification date, in-app communication like from\/to and timestamp\n\tinformation. TikTok will not be able to trace an account based on the\nactual name, email address, phone number or other account\ninformation. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"h2 wp-block-heading\"><strong>What\nAll Information Are Required from the Requesting Law Enforcement\nAgency?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>According\nto TikTok law enforcement guidelines, the request must include\ncontact details of the authorized law enforcement official who is\nsubmitting the request while making it. Following are the information\nrequired:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\n\n\tAgency\n\tName\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\tAgent\n\tName and Badge\/Identification Number\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\tAgent\n\tEmployer-issued Email Address\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\tAgent\n\tPhone Contact, including any Extension\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\tAgent\n\tMailing Address (P.O Box is not acceptable)\n\t<\/li><li>\n\n\tResponse\n\tDate (check out details below for emergency requests)\n<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"h2 wp-block-heading\"><strong>Will TikTok Respect Request for Data Preservation?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes.\nTikTok will value formal requests to retain user information for 90\ndays. The law enforcement can also preserve information for an\nadditional 90 day period, provided if a formal request to extend the\nretention days is submitted to TikTok officials. If the TikTok authorities find adequate reasons that this\ninformation involves alarming harm to a child, risk of death or\nsevere physical injury to a person. TikTok will\ntake the request under consideration. It is only the responsibility\nof the law enforcement authority to make such a request.
